Cookie Policy
About this policy
This policy explains which cookies and local storage Capi Video uses on the website, the dashboard and the embedded player, what they are for and how long they last.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser and receives back on each visit. Local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) is similar, but stays on your device and is not sent to the server.
The cookies we use
Alongside necessary cookies, we use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure our own site, dashboard and campaigns, only with your consent (LGPD, Art. 7(I), and GDPR, Art. 6(1)(a)). These services are never used on sellers’ embedded videos, players or funnels. Before consent, Google receives only cookieless signals without identifiers through Consent Mode. With consent, Google may set the _ga and _ga_* cookies; Google’s default is up to two years. Your choice is stored in local storage under capi_site_consent. To withdraw consent and delete these cookies, use the Cookie preferences button.

Local storage
We also keep in your browser without sending it to anyone:
- capi_workspace_id: the last workspace opened in the dashboard.
- capi_ai_consent_banner_dismissed and capi_pwa_dismissed: dashboard notices you dismissed.
- capi_return_to: the dashboard page open before you signed in (or the plan chosen on the pricing page), to go back to it after signing in, for up to 1 hour.
- capi_consent_*: the choice made in the player's consent banner, for each seller, until you change it or clear the site's data.
- capi_pixel_store_*: the cookies and local storage of the Meta, Google and TikTok pixels, for each seller, kept only while you allow marketing pixels and deleted when you stop.
- video_progress_* and capi-audio-*: where you stopped a video and the audio track you chose.
- capi_site_consent: your consent choice for measuring our site and dashboard, until you change it or clear the site data.
- capi_pending_gtm_events and capi_gtm_purchase_*: site measurement events waiting for Google Tag Manager to load and purchases already reported, in this tab only, removed when it closes; after a refusal they are not kept.
- capi_gtm_first_upload: a one-way hash of each workspace whose first video upload was already reported from this browser, so it is reported once; not kept after a refusal.
Sellers' pixels
A seller can turn on Meta, Google and TikTok pixels, or a custom pixel, in the player to measure the results of their own ads. They load only after you accept marketing in the player's banner, and then set their own cookies, governed by the privacy policies of those companies and of the seller. Custom pixels run in an isolated frame. Capi Video does not read these cookies.
Consent in the player
Where the law requires consent, as in Brazil and Europe, the player shows a banner before collecting statistics or loading marketing pixels. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, the player declines everything automatically without showing the banner. To change your choice, use the player's privacy button.
Managing cookies
You can see and delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings. Deleting Capi Video's cookies signs you out, and clearing local storage makes the player's banner appear again. To withdraw consent to site and dashboard measurement, use the Cookie preferences button in the site footer or in My account → Privacy and data.
